Julius Kugy Alpine Trail On the trail of the great alpine pioneer

With the Julius Kugy Trail, Dr. Valentin Wulz of the Klagenfurt Alpine Club Section has created a fitting tribute to the great alpine pioneer Julius Kugy. A demanding 44,000 meters of altitude on 720 kilometers of walking lead through what are probably the most beautiful mountains, as Ernest Hemmingway described the Julian Alps. A walking time of about 270 hours make a walk truly a project.
