Allgemein

JEROBOAM ist kein Radrennen, sondern eine radtouristische Veranstaltung, die ohne Renncharakter im normalen Straßenverkehr nach STVO 1960 stattfindet.

Die Teilnahme an JEROBOAM erfolgt für alle TeilnehmerInnen auf eigene Gefahr. Der Veranstalter und die Straßenverwaltungen übernehmen u. a. keine Gewährleistung für eine geeignete Beschaffenheit der Fahrbahn und haften auch nicht für Schäden und Unfälle, die TeilnehmerInnen von JEROBOAM durch den Zustand der befahrenen Strecke und durch den Verkehr auf ihr zustoßen sollten! Alle TeilnehmerInnen müssen sich für die sich allenfalls ergebenen Haftungsfälle bei einer zugelassenen Versicherungsanstalt selbst versichern!

Veranstalter, Datum & Ort

JEROBOAM wird vom dem Verein FABULOUS UNLIMITED UNURBAN CYCLING KLUB mit Sitz in Velden am Wörthersee in Kooperation mit ausgewählten Partnern in Kärnten, Österreich veranstaltet. Die Streckenführung befindet sich in Österreich, wobei sich die 300 km Variante in Österreich und Italien befindet. Abhängig von den entsprechenden gesetzlichen COVID-19-Auflagen zum Zeitpunkt der Veranstaltung behält sich der Verein vor, die Streckenführung durchgehend auf österreichischem Boden durchzuführen. JEROBOAM Austria findet von Freitag 01. 10. bis Sonntag 03. 10. statt.

Streckenführung

JEROBOAM Austria bietet drei Streckenvarianten an: 300 km, 150 km und 75 km.
Jeder Teilnehmer hat das Recht sich frei für eine Strecke zu entscheiden, welche zum Zeitpunkt der Registrierung angegeben werden muss. Die Streckenwahl kann nach der Anmeldung nicht mehr geändert werden. Vor der Veranstaltung wird allen Teilnehmern eine GPX-Datei zur jeweiligen Streckenwahl zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Angaben zu Länge und zu absolvierenden Höhenmetern der jeweiligen Strecken sind auf der offiziellen Homepage www.jeroboam.bike einsichtig.

Teilnahmebedingungen

Von Seiten des Veranstalters wird keine Tagesversicherung mit der Registrierung angeboten. Es liegt daher in der Verantwortung jedes einzelnen Radfahrers, die entsprechenden medizinischen Kontrollen der sportlichen Fitness durchzuführen und eine persönliche Versicherung gegen Schäden an sich selbst und an Dritten abzuschließen.

Die Teilnahme an der Veranstaltung ist nur denjenigen gestattet, die für die Veranstaltung berechtigt sind, die die Teilnahmegebühr bezahlt haben und eigenverantwortlich die passende Distanz zur körperlichen Eignung ausgewählt haben. Im Falle eines Unfalls werden die TeilnehmerInnen für den verursachten Schaden verantwortlich gemacht.

Der Veranstalter kann jederzeit und nach eigenem Ermessen, ohne Verpflichtung zur weiteren Begründung, entscheiden, ob die Registrierung von jemandem akzeptiert wird oder nicht.

Ausrüstung

Die Teilnehmer sind verpflichtet sich vor Beginn der Veranstaltung eigenverantwortlich richtig auszurüsten.

• Ausreichend starke Lampe mit ausreichend Stromkapazität für die 300 km Strecke
• Helm
• Technisches Gerät zur GPX-Track-Verwendung mit ausreichend Stromkapazität für die gewählte Strecke
• Geeignete Kleidung entsprechend der Jahreszeit
• Ausreichend Flüssigkeit und Essen zum Start
• Erste Hilfe Set
• Ausreichendes Werkzeug und Ersatzmaterialien bei Pannen wie Multitool, Reserveschlauch, Pickzeug, Pumpe, Kettenschloss, Bremsbeläge usw.
• Mobiltelefon
• Ausweis für die Grenzüberschreitung nach Italien bei 300 km Variante

Sicherheit & Straßenverkehrsordnung

Die Straße ist entlang den gesamten Routen nicht für den Verkehr & sonstige weitere Personen gesperrt und alle TeilnehmerInnen müssen ausnahmslos die Bestimmungen der Straßenverkehrsordnung 1960 einhalten. Insbesondere darf der übrige Verkehr nicht gefährdet und möglichst wenig behindert werden und es darf ausnahmslos nur der rechte Fahrstreifen benützt werden. Zusätzlich wird u.a. besonders auf das Kurvenschneideverbot, die Rechtsfahrordnung, die Vorrangregeln sowie auf Ampelregelungen und Verhalten im Kreisverkehr hingewiesen. Alle TeilnehmerInnen müssen bei allen Zebrastreifen den Fußgängern lt. STVO 1960 das ungehinderte Überqueren der Fahrbahn ermöglichen.

Zahlungsmethoden

Der Erwerb der Registrierung bzw. der Tickets zur Teilnahme an JEROBOAM Austria findet ausschließlich über ein Buchungssystem auf www.jeroboam.bike statt und kann mittels Kreditkartenzahlung oder Sofort-Überweisung durchgeführt werden.

Stornierungen

Kann ein/e TeilnehmerIn nicht an der Veranstaltung teilnehmen, hat er/sie keinen Anspruch auf Rückerstattung der Teilnahmegebühr. Der Veranstalter behält sich jedoch das Recht vor, nach eigenem Ermessen jeden Fall individuell zu bewerten. Eine Verschiebung der Teilnahme auf das Folgejahr ist nicht zulässig.

Maximale Zeit für Unterstützung

Es gibt eine maximale Zeit, um die Strecken zu absolvieren, welche auf der Website www.jeroboam.bike angegeben ist. Es werden keine medizinische Versorgung oder Taxitransporte seitens des Veranstalters angeboten.

Essen, Getränke & Unterkünfte

Die Veranstaltung JEROBOAM Austria ist ein Self-Supported-Bikeevent. Jeder Teilnehmer ist für seine eigene Verpflegung mit ausreichend Wasser und Essen entlang der Strecke vollends selbstverantwortlich. Die vorhandenen Verpflegungspunkte bzw. -empfehlungen entlang der Strecke werden ausschließlich als zusätzliche Ergänzung und ohne Garantie, dass jeder Teilnehmer diese in Anspruch nehmen kann, zur Verfügung gestellt. Zudem hat jeder Teilnehmer, der eine Schlafmöglichkeit benötigt, eigenverantwortlich für die Organisation dieser zu sorgen. Die vom Veranstalter vorgeschlagenen Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten sind lediglich Empfehlungen.

Beschwerden

Alle Beschwerden müssen per E-Mail austria@jeroboam.bike an den Veranstalter innerhalb von fünfzehn Tagen nach der Veröffentlichung der Ankunftsliste gesendet werden.

Änderungen

Der Veranstalter behält sich das Recht vor, jederzeit Änderungen an den Vorschriften vorzunehmen. Die Website www.jeroboam.bike ist der einzige Ort, an dem offizielle Informationen über die Veranstaltung zu finden sind. Daher werden alle offiziellen Mitteilungen nur durch sie bekannt gemacht. Angesichts neuer Umwelt- und/oder Gesundheitsumstände und/oder Änderungen des regulatorischen Rahmens behält sich der Veranstalter das Recht vor, die daraus resultierenden angemessenen Änderungen an den Vorschriften jederzeit vorzunehmen. Die offizielle Website der Veranstaltung, auf der diese Bestimmungen veröffentlicht werden, stellt die einzige Referenz für Informationen über die Veranstaltung dar. Daher ist es nicht möglich, sich auf andere Inhalte zu berufen, die in früheren Mitteilungen über Newsletter, in der Presse oder in sozialen Medien vorhanden waren.

Absage der Veranstaltung

Findet die Veranstaltung aufgrund höherer Gewalt nicht statt, wird der zum Zeitpunkt der Anmeldung gezahlte Betrag nicht zurückerstattet.

Genehmigung, Zustimmung & Autorisierung

Durch die offizielle Anmeldung zur Teilnahme bei JEROBOAM AUSTRIA, gilt für jeden Teilnehmer ab dem Zeitpunkt der Registrierung:

• Der Teilnehmer erklärt, die vorliegende Verordnung gelesen und verstanden zu haben und alle ihre Teile zu akzeptieren.
• Der Teilnehmer darf während der Veranstaltung keinen Alkohol, Drogen oder Betäubungsmittel konsumieren oder von diesen beeinflusst werden.
• Der Teilnehmer erklärt, sich in entsprechend guter körperlicher Verfassung für die gewählte jeweilige Streckenlänge zu befinden. Mit der Anmeldung des Teilnehmers entbindet er den Veranstalter von der Verantwortung für alle Schäden, die der Teilnehmer infolge der Teilnahme an der Veranstaltung erleiden könnte.
• Der Veranstalter lehnt jede Verantwortung für sich selbst und alle MitarbeiterInnen für Unfälle oder Schäden an Personen oder Eigentum ab, die vor, während und nach der Veranstaltung oder als Folge derselben auftreten können. Er behält sich auch das Recht vor, Radfahrer von der Veranstaltung auszuschließen, die sich vor, während und nach der Veranstaltung falsch verhalten.
• Der Teilnehmer erklärt sich mit der Verwendung seiner Daten auch für kommerzielle Zwecke einverstanden, einschließlich, aber nicht nur der Veröffentlichung des Namens in Bezug auf die Ergebnisse der Veranstaltung auf der Website www.jeroboam.bike gemäß Art. 13 des Gesetzesdekrets 196/2003 und der Artikel 12, 13 und 14 der EU-Verordnung 679/2016.
• Der Teilnehmer bestätigt, dass er die Datenschutzerklärung von JEROBOAM sorgfältig gelesen hat. Die Teilnahme an der Veranstaltung beinhaltet die Verarbeitung der personenbezogenen Daten der Teilnehmer für die Zwecke und in der Weise, die in der Datenschutzerklärung des Veranstalters beschrieben sind. Der Datenverantwortliche ist der Veranstalter.
• Der Teilnehmer erteilt dem Veranstalter die Zustimmung, jedes Video oder Foto, das während der Tage der Veranstaltung aufgenommen wurde, in der gesetzlich zulässigen Weise auch gewinnbringend zu verwenden, und gibt dem Veranstalter das Recht diese Bilder an Dritte zu übertragen.
• Der Teilnehmer erkennt an und akzeptiert, dass es für die Registrierung und Teilnahme an der Veranstaltung erforderlich ist, die Aufnahme und Verwendung des eigenen Bildes in der Art und Weise und für die Zwecke zu genehmigen, die in dieser Verordnung sowie im Haftungsausschluss und in der Datenschutzrichtlinie unter Berücksichtigung des öffentlichen Charakters der Veranstaltung angegeben sind, des Gegenstands der Dienstleistungen der Verbreitung und Kommerzialisierung des Video-Foto-Shootings der Veranstaltung sowie der Unmöglichkeit, die videofotografischen Aufnahmen selektiv einzuschränken. Die Modalitäten der Durchführung der Veranstaltung sehen das Filmen von Videos und das Fotografieren vor, um die Veranstaltung zu dokumentieren. Unter den Dienstleistungen, die mit der Registrierung für die Veranstaltung verbunden sind, bietet der Veranstalter allen Teilnehmern auch die Möglichkeit, die Fotos und Videos der Veranstaltung zu kaufen, in denen ein Bild eines Teilnehmers vorhanden ist.
• Die oben genannte Genehmigung zur Verwendung des eigenen Bildes muss auf unbestimmte Zeit und ohne territoriale Grenzen auf der ganzen Welt für die Verwendung in verschiedenen Publikationen und Filmen bestimmt sein, einschließlich, aber nicht beschränkt auf Werbematerialien und/oder Werbung auf allen Medien. Der Veranstalter kann die in dieser Vereinbarung vorgesehenen Nutzungsrechte auch an Dritte und ihre institutionellen und kommerziellen Partner übertragen.

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

General

JEROBOAM is not a cycling race, but a cycling-touristic event, which takes place without racing character in normal road traffic according to STVO 1960.

Participation in JEROBOAM is at the own risk of all participants. The organizer and the road authorities do not guarantee, among other things, a suitable condition of the road and are not liable for damages and accidents that should happen to participants of JEROBOAM due to the condition of the traveled route and the traffic on it! All participants have to insure themselves with a licensed insurance company for any liability cases that may arise!

Organizer, date & place

JEROBOAM is organized by the FABULOUS UNLIMITED UNURBAN CYCLING KLUB based in Velden am Wörthersee in cooperation with selected partners in Carinthia, Austria. The route is located in Austria, with the 300 km variant located in Austria and Italy. Depending on the relevant COVID-19 legal requirements at the time of the event, the association reserves the right to conduct the routing on Austrian soil throughout. JEROBOAM Austria will take place from Friday 01. 10. to Sunday 03. 10.

Routing

JEROBOAM Austria offers three route variants: 300 km, 150 km and 75 km.

Each participant has the right to freely choose a route, which must be indicated at the time of registration. The route choice cannot be changed after registration. Before the event, all participants will be provided with a GPX file for the respective route choice. The information about the length and the altitude of each route can be found on the official homepage www.jeroboam.bike.

Conditions of participation

On the part of the organizer no daily insurance is offered with the registration. It is therefore the responsibility of each individual cyclist to carry out the appropriate medical checks of their sporting fitness and to take out personal insurance against damage to themselves and third parties.

Participation in the event is allowed only to those who are eligible for the event, who have paid the participation fee and have independently selected the appropriate distance for physical fitness. In case of an accident, the participants will be held responsible for the damage caused.

The organizer may decide at any time and at his own discretion, without any obligation to give further reasons, whether or not to accept someone's registration.

Equipment

Participants are obliged to equip themselves properly on their own responsibility before the start of the event.

- Sufficiently strong lamp with enough power capacity for the 300 km route

- Helmet

- Technical device for GPX track use with sufficient power capacity for the chosen route

- Suitable clothing according to the season

- Sufficient liquid and food for the start

- First aid kit

- Sufficient tools and spare materials in case of breakdowns such as multitool, spare tube, pick tool, pump, chain lock, brake pads, etc.

- Cell phone

- Identity card for crossing the border into Italy at 300 km variant

Safety & road regulations

The road is not closed to traffic & other people along the entire routes and all participants, without exception, must comply with the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulations 1960. In particular, other traffic must not be endangered and impeded as little as possible and only the right lane may be used without exception. In addition, special attention is drawn to the prohibition of cutting corners, the right-hand driving regulations, the priority rules as well as traffic light regulations and behavior at traffic circles. All participants must allow pedestrians to cross the road unhindered at all crosswalks according to STVO 1960.

Payment methods

The purchase of registration or tickets to participate in JEROBOAM Austria takes place exclusively via a booking system on www.jeroboam.bike and can be made by credit card payment or instant bank transfer.

Cancellations

If a participant cannot attend the event, he/she is not entitled to a refund of the participation fee. However, the organizer reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to evaluate each case individually. Postponement of participation to the following year is not allowed.

Maximum time for support

There is a maximum time to complete the courses, which is stated on the website www.jeroboam.bike. No medical assistance or cab transportation will be provided by the organizer.

Food, Drinks & Accommodations

The JEROBOAM Austria event is a self-supported bike event. Each participant is fully responsible for their own catering with sufficient water and food along the route. The existing refreshment points or recommendations along the route are provided solely as an additional supplement and without guarantee that each participant will be able to take advantage of them. In addition, every participant who needs a place to sleep has to organize this on his own responsibility. The overnight accommodations suggested by the organizer are only recommendations.

Complaints

All complaints must be sent by e-mail austria@jeroboam.bike to the organizer within fifteen days after the publication of the arrival list.

Changes

The organizer reserves the right to make changes to the rules at any time. The website www.jeroboam.bike is the only place where official information about the event can be found. Therefore, all official communications will be made known only through it. In light of new environmental and/or health circumstances and/or changes in the regulatory framework, the organizer reserves the right to make the appropriate changes to the regulations at any time as a result. The official website of the event, where these regulations are published, is the only reference for information about the event. Therefore, it is not possible to refer to any other content that was present in previous communications via newsletters, in the press or in social media.

Cancellation of the event

If the event does not take place due to force majeure, the amount paid at the time of registration will not be refunded.

Approval, Consent & Authorization

By officially registering to participate in JEROBOAM AUSTRIA, applies to each participant from the moment of registration:

• The participant declares to have read and understood the present regulation and to accept all its parts.
• The participant may not consume or be influenced by alcohol, drugs or narcotics during the event.
• The participant declares to be in correspondingly good physical condition for the chosen respective route length. By registering the participant, he/she releases the organizer from responsibility for any damage that the participant may suffer as a result of participating in the event.
• The organizer disclaims any responsibility for himself and all employees for any accident or damage to persons or property that may occur before, during and after the event or as a consequence thereof. It also reserves the right to exclude from the event cyclists who misbehave before, during and after the event.
• The participant agrees to the use of his data also for commercial purposes, including but not limited to the publication of the name in relation to the results of the event on the website www.jeroboam.bike in accordance with art. 13 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 and articles 12, 13 and 14 of EU Regulation 679/2016.
• The participant confirms that he/she has carefully read the privacy policy of JEROBOAM. Participation in the Event involves the processing of the Participant's personal data for the purposes and in the manner described in the Organizer's Privacy Policy. The data controller is the organizer.
• The participant gives the organizer the consent to use any video or photo taken during the days of the event in the manner permitted by law, including for profit, and gives the organizer the right to transfer these images to third parties.
• The Participant acknowledges and accepts that in order to register and participate in the Event, it is necessary to authorize the taking and use of one's own image in the manner and for the purposes indicated in this Regulation, as well as in the Disclaimer and Privacy Policy, taking into account the public nature of the Event, the object of the services of dissemination and commercialization of the video-photo shooting of the Event, as well as the impossibility of selectively restricting the video-photographic shooting. The modalities of holding the event provide for the filming of videos and photography to document the event. Among the services associated with registration for the event, the organizer also offers all participants the opportunity to purchase the photos and videos of the event, in which there is a picture of a participant.
• The aforementioned permission to use one's image must be indefinitely and without territorial limits throughout the world for use in various publications and films, including but not limited to promotional materials and/or advertising on any media. The Organizer may also transfer the rights of use provided for in this Agreement to third parties and their institutional and commercial partners.
