On the three distances of 300km (Jeroboam), 150km (Magnum) or 75km (Standard) you can simply face your personal challenge with like-minded people. Along the tracks we will accompany you with casual refreshment stops and the finest local products. Both liquid and solid fuel. After the challenge you can chill out in the center of Velden.

JEROBOAM is not a cycle race, but a cycle tourism event that takes place without a racing character in normal road traffic in accordance with STVO 1960.
All participants take part in JEROBOAM at their own risk. The organizer and the road authorities do not assume any guarantee for a suitable condition of the road surface and are not liable for any damage or accidents that may occur to JEROBOAM participants due to the condition of the route and the traffic on it! All participants must take out their own insurance with a licensed insurance company for any liability claims that may arise!
Organizer, date & place
JEROBOAM is organized by the FABULOUS UNLIMITED UNURBAN CYCLING KLUB based in Velden am Wörthersee in cooperation with selected partners in Carinthia, Austria. The route is located in Austria, whereby the 300 km variant is located in Austria and Italy. Depending on the relevant legal COVID-19 requirements at the time of the event, the organization reserves the right to carry out the route on Austrian soil throughout. JEROBOAM Austria will take place from Friday 01. 10. to Sunday 03. 10.
Course layout
JEROBOAM Austria offers three route options: 300 km, 150 km and 75 km.
Each participant has the right to freely choose a route, which must be specified at the time of registration. The choice of route cannot be changed after registration. Before the event, all participants will be provided with a GPX file for the respective route selection. The length and elevation gain of each route can be viewed on the official homepage www.jeroboam.bike.
Conditions of participation
The organizer does not offer daily insurance with the registration. It is therefore the responsibility of each individual cyclist to carry out the appropriate medical fitness checks and to take out personal insurance against damage to themselves and third parties.
Participation in the event is only permitted to those who are eligible for the event, who have paid the participation fee and who have selected the appropriate distance for their physical fitness on their own responsibility. In the event of an accident, participants will be held responsible for any damage caused.
The organizer may decide at any time and at his own discretion, without obligation to provide further justification, whether or not to accept someone's registration.
Equipment
Participants are obliged to equip themselves properly before the start of the event.
Safety & road traffic regulations
The road is not closed to traffic and other people along the entire route and all participants must comply with the provisions of the Road Traffic Act 1960 without exception. In particular, other traffic must not be endangered and must be hindered as little as possible and only the right-hand lane may be used without exception. In addition, special attention is drawn to the ban on cutting corners, the right-hand driving regulations, the priority rules, traffic light regulations and behavior at traffic circles. All participants must allow pedestrians to cross the road unhindered at all crosswalks in accordance with STVO 1960.
Payment methods
The purchase of registration or tickets for participation in JEROBOAM Austria takes place exclusively via a booking system at www.jeroboam.bike and can be made by credit card payment or instant bank transfer.
Cancellations
If a participant is unable to attend the event, he/she is not entitled to a refund of the participation fee. However, the organizer reserves the right to assess each case individually at its own discretion. Participation may not be postponed to the following year.
Maximum time for support
There is a maximum time to complete the routes, which is indicated on the website www.jeroboam.bike. No medical assistance or cab transportation will be provided by the organizer.
Food, drinks & accommodation
The JEROBOAM Austria event is a self-supported bike event. Each participant is fully responsible for their own catering with sufficient water and food along the route. The available refreshment points and recommendations along the route are provided solely as an additional supplement and without any guarantee that every participant will be able to take advantage of them. In addition, each participant who needs a place to sleep is responsible for organizing this. The accommodation options suggested by the organizer are merely recommendations.

All complaints must be sent by e-mail to austria@jeroboam.bike to the organizer within fifteen days of the publication of the arrival list.
