Alternative route: Shortly after the former Male Inn and the Mlečnik sawmill, the difficult original route of the Panorama Trail Southern Alps branches off to the right onto a hiking trail at an overview sign. The less difficult variant continues straight along the asphalt road, slightly downhill through a ditch to the state road from Ferlach to Zell-Pfarre.
Here turn right onto the state road and follow it uphill for about 20 min (1.3 km) (please watch out for traffic!). Before a bridge, leave the main road to the left (signpost) and soon after, between two wooden bridges, follow the right path (marked hiking trail), which leads uphill to Zell-Pfarre.
At the first houses, briefly follow the asphalted state road and soon turn sharp right into the small toll road that leads to the Koschutahaus. Follow this road - partly on marked shortcuts - to the Koschutahaus, the stage destination.
