The Krumpendorf Panorama Trail is marked as a circular route from Parkbad. The approximately 16 km | 400 m route leads along country and forest roads, hiking trails and single trails, mostly along the Krumpendorf municipal boundaries.
The starting point is at Parkbad Krumpendorf. Initially, the route follows the cycle path and asphalt country road towards Görtschach. At the end of the village, as you enter the forest, narrow forest and hiking trails begin as far as Nussberg. From there, after a sharp left-hand bend, the route continues along the asphalt road towards Hohenfeld. The route now leads through the forest to Hohenfeld via a well-adapted forest path. Please take a little care here, as you have to cross the main road shortly after leaving the "Kollehof". Pass the Wirtnigteich pond on a narrow field path to Pirk, from where the connecting path to the Pörtschacher Bannwaldtour is signposted. From Pirk, a good forest path leads towards Pirkerkogel. After a short, flat section of forest - before the last stretch to the Pirkerkogel - you are rewarded with a wonderful view of Lake Wörthersee and the surrounding mountains. The last ascent now leads up to the Pirkerkogel. The route does not lead directly to the summit of the Kogel, but it is easily accessible with a slight deviation and offers further views of the lake, the Maria Wörth peninsula and the Pyramidenkogel. Now it's time to put the brakes on, because it's only downhill back towards Krumpendorf Ort. At the Bürger cider press, you come back onto the main road. At the traffic lights, ride straight ahead along Kochstraße into Pamperlallee, back to the starting point at Parkbad. Please watch out for hikers and walkers on the way!
