The small side roads around Lake Wörthersee, where you can cycle around the lake away from the main traffic routes, prove that it's all up and down. From Velden through the Keutschacher Seental, with a detour to the Pyramidenkogel, to Klagenfurt. Up to Krumpendorf a short stretch on the main road and then it goes already again on a less traveled road to Moosburg. From Moosburg to Pörtschach we turn right in Windischberg to Sekull. In Sekull we turn left to the Wörthersee. After a short stretch on the main road, in Saag we already take a side road to Forstsee. A short steep stretch is followed by a pleasant climb to Trabenig and on to Kerschdorf. The route continues to Köstenberg and Oberdorf. Now the descent towards Wernberg begins. On small roads it goes via Damtschach and Sonnental back to Velden. Approx. 75 km and 1,200 meters in altitude. On this tour you can also see the other sides of the Wörthersee region, peace and quiet and a lot of untouched nature, such as the Keutschacher Seental, Moosburg or Köstenberg. Minimundus or the Pyramidenkogel are definitely worth a visit.
