Architektur Haus Kärnten

Under the motto "BUILD CULTURE LIVE", 15 building culture initiatives are currently gathering around the Architecture House Carinthia and acting as intermediaries on different levels.
The house has been an important point of contact for building cultural questions for architects, builders, interested parties, politics, and the public since its foundation in 1992.
One of the key tasks is to strengthen regional building culture, to present it, and to enliven it with supra-regional aspects and perspectives. The focus is on the concentration of architectural events in the region, from which the view extends to supra-regional and also international aspects. This is facilitated by constant contact with other architecture houses in Austria as well as in neighboring countries such as Slovenia and Italy.

Over the years, the Architecture House Carinthia has developed into a vibrant and open cultural space in Klagenfurt.

With over 8,000 visitors and 60 different events a year, including exhibitions, excursions, discussions, lectures, children's workshops, and also large-scale conferences on current topics such as spatial planning or sustainable building, the Architecture House Carinthia has developed into a nationwide active platform for building culture in recent years. The exchange and relationships with neighboring countries Slovenia and Italy are also being continuously expanded.
