The preparation of the Austrian bistro cuisine with a Mediterranean touch primarily utilizes local organic products, fantastic delicacies from Carinthia such as fresh fish from Lake Wörthersee, and other specialties from the region and the surrounding Alpe-Adria area.
The result is a menu based on recipes from star chef Hubert Wallner, which, despite its intense flavors, remains very genuine and uncomplicated. A culinary direction that is as clear as the design of the bistro SÜDSEE, located directly on the lakeshore.
This includes classic SÜDSEE dishes such as the 180g Wagyu Burger "SÜDSEE" style, the "Wörthersee Whitefish," Istrian calamari, or dessert temptations like the "Sorbet Vernissage," all served with continuous warm kitchen hours from 12:30 to 20:30. Regularly updated menus and current daily recommendations offer variety and culinary surprises.
