Schigebiet Eberstein

The Saualpe – Eberstein ski area is located in Central Carinthia (Austria, Carinthia). 0.9 km of slopes are available for skiing and snowboarding. 1 lift transports the guests. The winter sports area is at an altitude of 1,650 to 1,780 m. The child-friendly family ski area Eberstein/Saalpe is located on the Saualpe Steinerhütte. The ascent from Eberstein in Görtschitztal leads via St. Oswald.

There is a sunny ski slope with a button lift over 900 m long, particularly snow-reliable thanks to the use of snow cannons. The view over the whole of Carinthia from a height of 1700 m above sea level is very special. Other sports options are snowshoeing, touring and curling. The Steiner and Drucker huts invite you to stop with a cozy atmosphere and a good lunch or a hearty snack.

On the descent into the valley, you can stop off at the Gasthaus Messner and the Panoramahotel Sereinig in St. Oswald.
