Take on the challenge of the ultimate long-distance hiking event on January 4, 2025

Wörthersee Extreme

The Wörthersee EXTREM is a challenging winter hiking event on Lake Wörthersee, which takes place on January 4 this year. Participants tackle a 62 km route with a total of 1,800 meters of elevation gain around the lake, regardless of the winter conditions - whether snow, cold or storm. The hike is carried out in different speed groups, accompanied by so-called "pacemakers" who set the pace so that participants of all fitness levels can take part. There are numerous refreshment stations with local specialties along the route.

TREK UCI World Gravel Series

Wörthersee Gravel Race

With over 1,000 starters from 36 nations, the first edition of the Wörthersee Gravel Race was a great success. In addition to the qualifier of the TREK UCI World Gravel Series, various participation categories, Gralf's Kids Race and the Expo with 25 exhibitors rounded off the program for everyone.

 

Be there when it's time to find, catch or beat Gralf again at the beginning of April 2025.

Gabriela Bozic Yoga teacher from Munich

Unroll the yoga mat directly at the lake and recharge your batteries at the most beautiful places for body, mind and soul. This is exactly what brings the international yoga community to Lake Wörthersee every year for the NAMASTE AM SEE Yoga Festival. Gabriela Bozic was a yoga instructor on the high-caliber lineup for the 2022 festival.

"If we apply the yogic principles in our everyday life, we can become happier overall and learn to treat each other more lovingly and compassionately. It may sound "platitudinous," but it's really always about love and compassion, especially in these times of global crises and climate change. "

PS: At Lake Wörthersee, no one has to give up their meditative, daily #metime! At no other bathing lake is there such a unique and varied yoga program.
