AUSTROFRED - walking concert

Austrofred is the Austrian answer to Freddie Mercury, he considers himself "the only Austrian rock star of international stature". At his performances, he sings quirky Austropop lyrics to Queen melodies, with the extravagant and shameless stage performance being part of the success recipe.

In his other life, Adrian Wenzl, as Austrofred is called by his real name, is the lead singer of the indie rock band "Kreisky" and a writer.

At the end of 2005, the road movie "Giving Gas" was released, in which Austrofred desperately tries to get a test sticker for his car, and the fitness video "Fit with Austrofred".
Since November 2005, Austrofred has been presenting the show Hello Austrofred – Hello Vienna! once a month on the Vienna cable channel, where he visits and interviews local celebrities in their homes.
In the summer of 2006, his autobiography "Alpenkönig und Menschenfreund" was published, in which he tells the story of his career, starting as an altar boy, through performances with the show and dance band Crazy Diamonds to his current successes.

Together with Thomas Rabitsch, he hosts the Austrofred Gala at the Rabenhof Theater in Vienna. At the beginning of 2008, Austrofred released all episodes of Hello Austrofred, Hello Vienna on a double DVD.
Unusual for an artist from the underground scene, he achieved a remarkable success with place 10 in the official DVD charts. Shortly before Christmas 2008, the book Ich rechne noch in Schilling was published, a collection of his online and private journal entries.
His correspondence with Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was presented in 2010 in his book: You can shove your Magic Flute up your ass. He hosted on the station FM4 and worked with Kurt Razelli. Austrofred is the first and last real pop star from Austria, his live performances are an event that should not be missed.
