The Mali Chess Museum project in Klagenfurt am Worthersee consists of four projects. Over 1000 square meters, we combine a chess museum, a chess café, a chess education space
and a souvenir shop. In Europe's largest chess museum, a total of 3200 chess games from around 130 countries can be viewed. Among them are approximately equal shares of classic
and unique chess games (one-of-a-kind), as well as chess robots, chess tables, chess clocks, and chess books. The museum is organized according to the 7 continents and thematically: Africa,
Asia, Soviet Union, America, Chamber of Secrets, Europe, Children's World, and Chess Robots, making it interesting for everyone, not just chess enthusiasts. The rooms contain not only the chess pieces and boards but also reflect the atmosphere, art, and cultural goods of the respective continent.
