Tourism Quality Initiative Carinthia
Based on an initiative by the Tourism Regions Carinthia, the Carinthian Tourist Board and the provincial tourism department, the local tourist regions, the hotel, gastronomy and camping sectors of the chamber of commerce, the Carinthian "Holidays on the Farm" group, the association of private guesthouses, the Kärnten Card group and the cable cars of Carinthia launched the "Tourism Quality Initiative Carinthia" in 2011. Since spring 2013, the Carinthian ski school association, the summer sport schools, the Carinthian mountain pasturing association with the special group “mountain tavern” and the Carinthian agricultural marketing with the special group "tavern" have also become partners of this initiative.
With the input of all partners, measureable criteria were defined to assess touch points of the tourism brand Carinthia. When fulfilling these criteria, businesses are awarded the Carinthian Seal of Quality.
Enterprises that fulfill the "Tourism Quality Initiative Carinthia" specifications with great dedication and motivation receive the Carinthian Seal of Quality. The establishment and its employees are committed to the tourism brand Carinthia, transmitting its "joy of living" holiday feeling to their guests. The hosts create a welcoming atmosphere with high standards of service. Once awarded the seal, it is monitored at regular intervals in order to uphold the quality promise.

If you have booked your holidays in one of the over 100 member hotels and guest houses, you will get your card immediately on your arrival together with your room key.
